Participant information

Eligibility: To be eligible for the study you must be starting an antidepressant in +/- 2 days e.g either have started in the previous two days when signing up or will begin treatment in the following two days from sign up. You are also eligible if you have switched from one antidepressant to another in +/- 2 days.

Once you sign up, a member of the study team will be in contact outlining your payment schedule and a study schedule that will outline what exactly is required each week ( mainly a 10-minute check-in)

Our Aim: Our study is attempting to assess who will respond to what antidepressant treatment so that people suffering get the help they need, faster.

Resources: Many patients have been prescribed their first antidepressant but often change dosage or switch to a completely new medication for a number of different reasons. Our study will not interfere with your treatment in any way and you should always continue your treatment plan as advised by your GP or primary care team.

However, we understand that switching antidepressants or starting antidepressants for the first time can be a daunting experience for many patients. It is for that reason that we have included a number of resources below
